Agreed, Polojko. Prosocial insects often (always?) are exact clones making a smaller step for selfish genes to get them to sacrifice for the group.
Humans are so uniquely individual yet group oriented. It's really impressive and one can't help but think this is the reason for our gigantic success, at least as measured by the rapid growth of populations for large mammals and our short term mastery over Earth. It may also prove to be the death of us. Stay tuned.
It really is so hard to understand our nature in such a sprawling population. It's all radically changed from what we evolved for. Tragically missing is the sense of connection and community. and we are badly suffering the loss of accountability. All so true.
